Trucker Path launches fuel discount program

April 10, 2023
The new Trucker Path Fuel Network provides a more convenient way for drivers to purchase fuel and aims to increase sales to truck stops.

Trucker Path announced its new Trucker Path Fuel Network, which offers truck drivers a more convenient way to buy fuel.

For Trucker Path users, locations participating in the Trucker Path Fuel Network are identified on the map within the Trucker Path app or by clicking the Fuel icon on the menu. Drivers can enroll in the program on the Trucker Path app by inputting a credit or debit card, and then reserving the amount of fuel they want to purchase. Upon arrival at a geo-fenced location, they click Redeem in the app, enter the pump number, number of gallons and begin fueling. Fuel purchases can also be made on arrival and be approved in seconds, the company stated in a press release.

Driver benefits include:

  • Average savings of $50 to $70 with each transaction
  • No fees to participate and no separate portals or logins
  • Access to discounts and additional convenience store promotions
  • Fuel saving coupons based on gallons purchased
  • Rewards and additional savings for referring fellow drivers

“This program doesn’t just benefit drivers,” said Chris Oliver, CMO at Trucker Path, in a press release. “We are also focused on helping our fuel merchant partners increase their fuel and convenience store sales by increasing their overall traffic volumes. With the enhanced exposure and promotion to the Trucker Path community of nearly one million commercial truck drivers, they will attract more customers and be able to offer them an excellent in-app purchase process that’s super convenient and easy.”

Using the Trucker Path business portal for managing the program, truck stops can set the fuel prices they want to offer and access reporting tools to monitor the program. The portal also gives them the ability to offer additional deals on store items and other products and services they have to offer. The offers and promotions entered into the portal are made available to the community of drivers almost immediately.

Benefits for truck stops include:

  • Increased traffic for fuel and convenience store sales
  • No transaction fees
  • No-cost, in-app highlighted exposure and promotions
  • Ability to offer additional promotions for goods and services beyond fuel
  • Monitor competitor’s fuel prices in real time within the locations’ market area to stay competitively priced
