Transite Technology has announced its My Freight Rates is now available to shippers, brokers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). The program aggregates the best rates from 3PLs and provides brokers and shippers with easy access to the rates in real time.
The system mines the data and offers brokers and shippers the rates within Transite’s transportation management system, My Freight Portal, or within other systems via web services.
"We feel this is a unique, tremendous benefit to the industry as our customers and others throughout the industry can have instant access to the lowest rates provided by our participating 3PLs," said Geoff Comrie, CEO of Transite. "And, our participating 3PLs now have another source of revenue and marketing channel."
