Cadec adds wireless to handhelds

DeliveryTracker, a handheld manifest delivery application for Cadec Corp.'s Mobius TTS onboard computer system, has been upgraded to support wireless communications for transferring data in real-time. The application, which runs on a Windows CE Symbol device, now also supports full invoice printing and partial case returns, as well as barcode scanning, electronic signature capture and full delivery

DeliveryTracker, a handheld manifest delivery application for Cadec Corp.'s Mobius TTS onboard computer system, has been upgraded to support wireless communications for transferring data in real-time.

The application, which runs on a Windows CE Symbol device, now also supports full invoice printing and partial case returns, as well as barcode scanning, electronic signature capture and full delivery information. DeliveryTracker is used primarily by food distribution fleets, according to Cadec.
