McLeod Software has announced that its annual Users’ Conference--to be held September 14 through 17 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville--will feature a panel of chairmen from three major North American truck transportation associations.

Moderated by McLeod president & CEO Tom McLeod, the panel will include Ray Haight, executive director of MacKinnon Transport Inc. and 2008-2009 Chairman of the Board of the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA); Doug Clark, president & CEO of Greatwide Freight Brokerage (formerly Cargo-Master) and 2007-2008 Chairman of the Board of the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA); and Ron D. Tartt, gm, private fleet for Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC and 2007-2008 Chairman of the Board for the National Private Truck Council (NPTC).

“Putting the minds and ideas of three separate industry leaders together on the same stage is going to be a very unique and enlightening experience for our attendees,” said Tom McLeod. “These panelists not only have nearly 100 years of combined experience in the transportation industry, but their dedicated involvement with these influential groups is sure to generate an informative, educational and, quite likely, controversial discussion.”

McLeod added that it will introduce new products and modules at the conference, including updated versions of its LoadMaster IX and PowerBroker II software programs as well as other products and enhancements.
