Traffic flow information provider Inrix (www.Inrix.com) says that its real-time traffic solution is now available on over 75 models of portable and automotive navigation devices, mobile phones and “smart phones.” Inrix provides real-time, predictive and historic traffic flow information for over 94 U.S. metropolitan markets.

Users can gain immediate access to Inrix Real-Time Traffic Flow (speed) data via automotive and portable navigation device models using Clear Channel Radio's Total Traffic Network, which is broadcast via Clear Channel Radio's RDS-TMC delivery network, to Garmin, Tom Tom, Mio/Mitac, NAVIGON, Cobra Electronics, Siemens VDO and other navigation systems.

Inrix Traffic is also available for mobile phones and smart phones across several major U.S. carriers via TeleNav GPS Navigator. Inrix provides traffic data solutions to other wireless navigation platform and application developers as well, including TCS, Telmap, deCarta, eMbience and MobileGates. Drivers with Microsoft Windows Mobile smart phones and PocketPCs can access Inrix real-time and predictive traffic maps and key routes for over 106 metropolitan markets in the U.S. and U.K. via the Inrix Traffic for Windows Mobile application.

“Market demand for traffic-enabled applications is building on the significant market growth in the portable and auto navigation device markets, the emergence of the off-board navigation market and the availability of nationwide traffic speed data,” says Inrix CEO Bryan Mistele. “In just one year, we've grown the maximum available coverage of real-time traffic flow information in the U.S. from 36 markets to 94 and 8,000 miles to 55,000.”
