@Road Inc. announced that Florida Light & Power Co. (FLP) has selected @Road as its official mobile resource management (MRM) solutions provider. The firm has agreed to deploy its GeoManagerSM solution to provide FLP greater location data and real-time visibility for 3,000 field service technicians. GeoManager is designed to help utility and other service providers streamline field-service delivery operations while increasing field-technician productivity and enhancing customer service. www.road.com

Lectronix is teaming up with Parrot to integrate Parrot's Bluetooth hands-free kit into a Lectronix in-dash driver information system for a commercial trucking solution. The Lectronix Navion T7000 will now include as a standard element the Parrot Bluetooth hands-free solution for Bluetooth-enabled cellular phone integration, allowing users to make hands-free cell phone calls by wirelessly connecting their Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone to the truck's dash-mounted console and speaker system without any additional wiring. www.parrot.biz

Karmak Inc. is celebrating its 25th anniversary as a provider of business management software systems to heavy-duty truck parts distributors, dealers, manufacturers, service shops, lease/rental facilities and fleets. Currently, Karmak supports more than 500 customers at approximately 1,800 locations throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

Trans-System Inc. will add the Mobile Max communications and fleet management system to 200 tractors in its fleets and upgrade another 600 tractors to the Cingular Wireless GPRS version of the system. Headquartered in Spokane, WA, Trans-System owns the flatbed hauler System Transport Inc., refrigerated carrier T.W. Transport and James J. Williams Bulk Service Transport.
