Handheld adds wireless access
Advantech has announced that logistics operations personnel can easily access real-time data from warehouse management systems using its new Advantech MARS-1030 series compact mobile terminals.
The terminals feature a secure built-in wireless module, according to Advantech. The portable data terminal is bundled with a proprietary data collection system and wireless links to provide a seamless logistics solution to warehouse managers, the company says.
MARS-1030's support for 1D/2D barcode protocols and RFID enables massive volumes of data capture, according to the company.
