TomTom Work, the business-to-business division of TomTom, announced its Webfleet service--an online fleet management, order tracking and reporting service-- will be available during the second quarter of 2008.
According to the company, the system offers a choice of either the frequently updated TomTom Webfleet maps or street-level satellite maps to view the location of all of a fleets’ vehicles in real time.
Webfleet is targeted at small and medium-sized businesses, designed for linking a company’s base, vehicles and back-office functions to enable planning, vehicle tracking, report compilation and easy two-way communication with drivers, TomTom said.
