The Tailwind Carrier Management System for truckload and LTL fleets now offers users approved truck e-manifests that meet the U.S. Customs A.C.E. border-crossing requirements for inbound truck shipments.

In partnership with document-automation specialist Oceanside Inc., Tailwind lets fleets enter manifest data into its management system for automatic transmission to U.S. Customs. Oceanside already has Air and Ocean E-manifest programs in place and has received Customs approval for the new truck service.

Tailwind says it has also introduced a new fuel tax module for its fleet management system that organizes fuel purchase records and simplifies filing International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) forms.
