Innovative Products of America has released the Mobile Universal Trailer Tester (MUTT), which allows for the quick inspection, troubleshooting and diagnosis of trailer electrical systems, the company said.

According to Innovative, the system is powered by any standard car battery and can handle loads of up to 20 amps per circuit, allowing a technician to scan for faults, overloads, cross and open circuits and ground integrity.

The tester comes with a remote control that allows a technician to manually select power to each circuit while visually inspecting the lights and ABS control module, the company said.
