The next generation of @Road Inc.'s wireless management system for field service operations will speed up wireless data transmissions by using GPRS cellular networks and EDGE technology. It incorporates a Siemens quad-band modem that can operate on all existing GSM cellular networks.

The @Road Internet Wireless Manager 3150 creates mobile WiFi hotspots so field service technicians can access Internet-based applications using WiFi enabled PDAs, laptop computers or other devices. It also includes a GPS receiver to provide remote location monitoring.

The new 3150 will be released for general availability later this fall. www.road.com
