Although it is not written specifically for drivers in the United States, fleet managers and safety directors anywhere may find the straightforward information helpful. The guide is available online in a PDF format.

Of particular interest to U.S. fleets are the sections on:

• Managing the media
• The use of cameras to capture images at the scene

• Injury rehabilitation and trauma management advice

Some terms, such as the “at scene bump card” may not be familiar to U.S. safety directors and their drivers, but the easy-to-understand form offers a good way to capture the information required by many cities and states when filing an official accident report.
