Fleets providing service to Ryder System's supply chain management customers now have online access to loads and shipments though a new carrier portal. RyderTrac is a web-based application that provides real-time data allowing carriers to manage status updates down to the smallest details, according to the supply chain and transportation management group at Ryder.

The portal's main screen lets carriers view information on loads en route, as well as planned loads and loads tendered. Any shipment that falls behind schedule is highlighted by the portal's “dashboard” interface for quick identification by both Ryder and the carrier. The new system also tracks individual loads down to the stop level and accommodates last minute P&D changes.

Downloads to Microsoft Excel are also supported.
