The Durabook N14RA ruggedized laptop from Twinhead Corp. features the new 64-bit AMD Turion MT28 processor housed in a magnesium alloy case. Intended for field service applications requiring high-powered computing capabilities, the new laptop also provides anti-shock mounting to protect the 14-in. LCD screen and hard drive from damage.

Other features for the new Durabook include spill resistant keyboard and switches, and smart-battery circuitry to protect against current surges and overheating.

Functionally, the laptop offers 40 to 80 GB hard drive options, build-in Ethernet and WiFi capability, integrated audio and video processing, and a wide variety of I/O ports. It weighs around 6 lb. depending on battery options.
