As states across the country continue to raise tolls on Interstates and bridges, keeping up is more difficult than ever for fleet managers and drivers.
To assist in that process, ALK Technologies has released the latest version of its PC*Miler | Tolls software. This quarterly update includes 30 toll roads and bridges in 11 jurisdictions that have raised tolls since the last update.
Updated toll data is now available for Version 25 of PC*Miler, PC*Miler Web Services and PC*Miler | Web.
Among the roads included in the latest update at the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway, the Mid-Hudson Bridge in New York, the Ohio Turnpike, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
PC*Miler | Tolls calculates truck-specific toll costs in the U.S. and Canada based on a vehicle’s weight, axle count, vehicle type, trailer count, transaction type, and time of day travel. When truck routing is generated in PC*Miler, truck-specific toll costs are added to a route’s overall cost calculations.
