England Logistics, a subsidiary of refrigerated truckload carrier C.R. England Inc., is adding McLeod Software’s PowerBroker platform as its brokerage software system to help position its logistics operation for growth.
“The selection of McLeod’s PowerBroker platform falls appropriately in line with our aggressive, strategic growth plans,” said Jason Beardall, England Logistics’ vp-truckload sourcing. “We have great confidence in the productivity enhancements PowerBroker will offer our organization.”
He added that England Logistics plans implement McLeod’s PowerBroker package alongside other McLeod software systems, including: Agent Access, Container, EDI for Logistics, Private Notification Network and Rapid Alert Notification System modules.
Other key services and technologies to be used include Carrier Insurance Monitoring, Internet connectivity, Web Document Retrieval and McLeod’s new Responsibility Filtering module.
