Third-party logistics provider L&M Transportation Services has implemented the Transflo Express truckstop scanning solution from Pegasus TransTech. The use of the system is designed to speed cash flow and allow same-day access to delivery documents for L&M’s back office personnel.
“We are always looking for ways to improve our operating efficiency and assist our carriers in getting their documents in quickly,” said LMTS vp Doug Stoiber. “Transflo Express will help carriers get paid faster and will help LMTS bill our shippers quicker.”
Drivers of fleets using Transflo Express can simply hand their delivery documents to an attendant at any of more than 750 truckstop locations nationwide. The attendant will scan and send the documents to the home office where immediate billing and payroll processing can be conducted, noted Pegasus TranbTech.
