Fleet management software developer TMW Systems Inc. has agreed to begin offering its customers the SkyBitz satellite-based trailer tracking system. SkyBitz uses a proprietary Global Locating System (GLS) to track mobile assets equipped with a small, self-powered mobile communicator that offers simple installation and multi-year battery life.
The new agreement allows real-time trailer location information to be integrated with TMW's dispatch and fleet management systems, which “will lead to increased efficiencies and profitability for our customers,” according to Tom Weisz, TMW president and CEO.
