The IntelliRoute TND, a GPS navigation device specifically designed by Rand McNally for professional truck drivers, now creates state-by-state mileage reports that can be exported to spreadsheets for IFTA fuel tax reporting.

The new feature is part of a free upgrade announced by Rand McNally that also includes new voice warnings to alert drivers to sharp curves and other road features, proximity alerts as drivers near destinations, full-text preview of routes, and both French and Spanish language options for text and audio.

The upgrade will be available in Sept. for installation via the IntelliRoute TND Dock, which will also update the GPS device with map and other geo-data changes. Both the device and dock, as well as a full line of accessories, are available at truck stops and through online retailers, according to the company.

In addition to the GPS device upgrade, Rand McNally has announced that it will offer the IntelliRoute TND software for it iPad later this year.
