An agreement between SkyGuard and SpeedGauge will result in real-time analysis of speed data by SkyGuard fleet customers. Speed and location data collected by GPS units will be forwarded to SpeedGuage, whose web-based software application will analyze those data points in real-time.

SkyGuard captures speed and location information, but until now that information was not able to identify if drivers were exceeding the posted speed limit.

“We at SkyGuard are excited about the opportunity to work with SpeedGauge and pleased to add this enhancement to our product line,” said Gary Wilfert, SkyGuard COO. “SpeedGauge’s data analysis service will provide our customers with extremely valuable information about their fleet’s daily activities that can be used to lower costs as well as increase productivity, safety and customer satisfaction.”
