Descartes Systems Group, a provider of on-demand delivery management solutions and services, announced the latest releases to its Delivery Management and Global Logistics Network suites.

Improvements in the new release include the Descartes Route Planner, which now contains better visualization and user-interface control, as well as route solutions that consider factors such as stops-per-hour and lb.-per-mile. In addition, the Descartes Automated Vehicle Locator has been upgraded to offer “light” dispatch features, and the Descartes MobileLink now covers a wider array of mobile workforce applications.
