Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket is now marketing and selling its VDO Redi-Sensor multi-application TPMS sensors on the aftermarket. The sensor come “ready-to-use,” works on a variety of makes and models, and works with all major scan tools without special programming, the company said.
“We are extremely pleased by the exceptional response to our innovative TPMS sensors,” said Howard Laster, director of product management & new business development. “We have been receiving requests and pre-orders from customers as early as our successful product demonstration and preview this past August. We are delighted that we are now able to satisfy our customers' needs and fill the pipeline with Redi-Sensor.”
Redi-Sensor with all major TPMS scan tools, including ATEQ, Bartec, OTC, and K-Tool. According to the company, it uses “intelligent design” to provide results faster.
Redi-Sensor “relearns” to the vehicle as easily as the OE sensor- - and often in less time-- and the scan tool relearn process is unchanged from that of OEs, Continental said. What’s more, the company added, the sensors require no additional purchases, TPMS training or investments.
