FleetView 3 now includes an intelligent modem that chooses 1xrtt or SMS digital networks or circuit-switched digital wireless service over AMPS cellular networks.

The switch to digital for the trailer tracking system improves battery performance and adds support for over-the-air upgrades and enhancements to its software, according to Terion.
