Navman Wireless Business Solutions, a provider of vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions, has announced the availability of a new asset-tracking system for the U.S. market.

The Navman Wireless Fleet Manager combines fleet management technology with GPS, and is based on the same solution the company designed and implemented as a white label offering for a U.S. wireless provider last year, according to Navman. The system allows fleet managers to map vehicle locations, analyze vehicle activity (e.g. stops, mileage and idleness), define driver territories, and communicate directly with vehicle operators.

With per-vehicle fixed-rate pricing, the new wireless fleet management system is suited for any size business with any size fleet, according to the company.
