Uploading previous roadside inspection records into the FleetMentor’s new Roadside Inspection Tracking tool can help create a total record that can be analyzed using the Inspection Report by CSA 2010 Basic, according to the developer.

The collected information, along with the capability to track a carrier’s safety rating from truck inspection to inspection, including completion of corrections and supporting documents such as inspection reports and receipts, allows fleets to create a truck profile and make necessary safety improvements ahead of CSA 2010 implementation, FleetMentor said.

The program identifies violation, and inspection data is then grouped by CSA 2010 Basics, including violation grouping and severity weights. New reporting options also allow the generation of violation reports by driver, status and inspection location.

FleetMentor has also launched a CSA 2010 Resource Center with tools and resources needed to prepare for compliance with CSA 2010.

On Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. EST, the company will offer a complimentary webcast entitled “CSA 2010: What is it? What does it involve?” The webcast will cover the CSA 2010 initiative, how carriers are tracked and evaluated, the data collection system, the Basic system and more.
