Third-party logistics provider England Logistics is now offering a forwarder software package developed by IES, Ltd., for use throughout North America and China.

“Global sourcing has experienced significant growth,” said Michelle Potter, director-strategic development for England Logistics. “This new system is necessary to support the continued growth expectations in international freight forwarding.”

IES’ software is structured using an integrated, modular design that will allow England Logistics to increase efficiency and differentiate their service, the company said.

England Logistics added that it plans use the software to “define standardized processes for services, improve billing cycles and provide management reporting for P&L analysis,” said Jeff VanWagoner, the firm’s director of supply chain integration.
