Glacier Computer’s E2000 industrial computer will now ship with thin client terminal emulation software from Stay-Linked pre-loaded.

Stay-Linked provides wireless terminal emulation connecting to 5250/3270, VT100/220 and SSHv2 host systems. Included is Stay-Linked Speech, which will allow Glacier customers to easily voice-enable their existing terminal emulation applications.

The E2000 runs the full version of Windows CE 6.0. It is designed for vehicle or fixed-mount applications.

“We’re excited to have the E2000 certified by Stay-Linked and all of Glacier’s rugged mobile computers certified in the very near future,” said Ron D’Ambrosio, CEO, Glacier. “By pre-loading Stay-Linked client software on the E2000 and on our other units, we’ll make sure that our customers have access to the best terminal emulation, device management and voice enablement solution available.”
