Online repair programs add photos

Tractor-Trailer.net and Medium-Truck.net, the online repair programs from Mitchell 1, have been updated with thousands of new engine component and connector photos. The photos were taken as part of an agreement with Universal Technical Institute (UTI), which uses Mitchell 1’s programs. UTI allowed Mitchell 1 photographers to take pictures of the parts being used in the training programs.

“Because we utilize Mitchell 1’s online manuals in our training programs, the pictures taken during these visits supplement existing component photos and repair methods,” said Duane Kramer, vp of new campus operations and programs, UTI. “In addition to detailed diagrams and trouble-shooting procedures, these images help technicians using Mitchell 1 programs correctly diagnose and repair vehicle problems.”

Both sites are updated on a monthly basis with photos and technical information.
