To ease the process of adding programs for new clients, J.J. Keller has now bundled select online applications under one name, J.J. Keller encompass.
The new package includes an online dashboard to alert users of compliance and safety issues, functions to manage driver qualification files, driver training, and online data and document storage. In addition, monitoring includes drug and alcohol testing, hours-of-service compliance, vehicle maintenance and parts, fuel tax reporting as well as fleet compliance and processes.
The technology integrates with J. J. Keller’s on-board recorder for monitoring GPS tracking, e-logs, and driver performance such as hard braking and excessive speed.
“This system helps companies with fundamental fleet organization and compliance, but it goes so much further in helping prepare for CSA 2010 and overall best practices in fleet management,” said Amy Daley, CTP, J. J. Keller product manager. “Whereas technology companies are intent on getting a ‘black box’ installed on trucks, we are a safety and compliance company that wants to help companies first get organized – we have the black box, but the first step is organizing the operation.”
According to the company, .J. Keller encompass includes the ability to manage the activities of multiple locations from a single online interface and automatic alerts when tasks are completed. Managers can receive driver scorecards and reports to monitor fleet performance.
