American Trucking Assn. president & CEO Gov. Bill Graves will deliver the keynote address and U.S. Olympic ice hockey hero Jim Craig will also speak during Qualcomm’s third annual users’ conference.

Vision 2010, to be held Jan. 31 through Feb. 2, 2010, at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, will follow the theme of “Magnify Your ROI.” The event, designed for interactivity, includes expert presentations, case studies, interactive sessions and a technology fair all targeted for managers, MIS, operations, fleet, maintenance and safety personnel.

“Carriers are currently facing a number of challenges, including an uncertain economic outlook, fluctuating fuel prices and new regulations,” said Norm Ellis, vp of transportation and logistics sales and service for Qualcomm Enterprise Services. “Vision 2010 will offer practical tools, tips and technologies designed to help them meet these challenges, now and in the future.”

Craig was the starting goalie on the 1980 U.S. men’s Olympic hockey team that won the gold medal in Lake Placid, upsetting the Russians in the semifinals in what many believe is the greatest sports victory of all time.

Early-bird registration for the conference is ongoing through Nov. 2.
