Turnpike Global Technologies has been added to the Sprint bill, effective Monday, February 18, according to Turnpike. "Sprint is now selling Turnpike's services along with their cell phones," said Steve Kull, director of marketing and design for Turnpike. "We will maintain our own internal sales team, but our services are also now available through Sprint as well."

Turnpike also announced that the company has upgraded its RouteTracker fleet management solution to transmit vehicle engine diagnostics, in addition to the operational data, location and other information customers are already using.

According to Kull, the RouteTracker unit speaks via Bluetooth to the handheld device reporting all the engine diagnostics that it is collecting. This information is then passed through a data network to the end user, who can pull up reports via the Internet back at the terminal or anywhere else with access to an Internet connection.
