    Two Symbol Technologies ruggedized handheld computers have been certified for the Sprint PCS wireless network. Offering both voice and data communications, the Symbol MC9000-K and MC9000-S run the Windows Mobile 2003 Phone operating system and support Bluetooth and WiFi as well as Sprint CDMA service.

    The two handhelds are intended for transportation, route delivery, field service and other mobile applications requiring the high-speed data capability of Sprint's x1rtt wireless broadband network.
