Under a marketing agreement with FreshLoc Technologies, onboard electronic recorder maker Tripmaster Corp. will now offer its customers a wireless in-transit temperature monitoring and recording system.

The Freshsync data logging system is specifically designed for multiple-stop reefer delivery operations with multiple compartments, according to the company. An Internet-based wireless ASP system, it places small wireless temperature sensors in each compartment. Transit temperatures are recorded, and if they move out of pre-set ranges, the driver is alerted. Arrival notification can also be sent ahead to delivery sites.

The new agreement allows collected temperature data to be automatically downloaded to Tripmaster's Office fleet management applications once a truck returns to its terminal.
