Offering operational statistics at a glance, the Trailer Dashboard for the FleetView3 trailer tracking system turns collected data into timely management reports, according to system developer Terion Inc.
Designed to provide key operational metrics quickly, the dashboard format allows managers to quickly identify problem areas and take action to minimize the impact of those problems.
Among the reports offered by the dashboard is a dormancy recap report that ranks trailers based on the amount of time they sit idle at a location. It also indicates if the sitting trailers are loaded or unloaded.
A second dashboard report provides a trailer pool status summary. By comparing desired pool size with the actual number of trailers at a location, it allows fleet managers to quickly move units into or out of pool locations in order to maintain optimum pool efficiency.
The Trailer Dashboard reports can be emailed automatically to managers at frequency intervals set by the fleet. They are also available online through Terion's web-based management application.
