Cargo-tracking solution added to Qualcomm devices

A covert tracking solution from FreightWatch has been added to Qualcomm systems to offer in-transit visibility and security of loads, from individual pallets to truckloads. The service, available to carriers of high value and sensitive loads, delivers electronic freight security of cargo from its point of origin to its destination

A covert tracking solution from FreightWatch has been added to Qualcomm systems to offer in-transit visibility and security of loads, from individual pallets to truckloads. The service, available to carriers of high value and sensitive loads, delivers electronic freight security of cargo from its point of origin to its destination.

FreightWatch offers the Geo F1 and Geo F2 location devices with its proprietary FSNtracks online service.

The devices are based on the inGeo platform which is developed and powered by Qualcomm’s CDMA Technologies division. They leverage Qualcomm’s gpsOne postion-location technology to combat theft.

Together with FreightWatch theft prevention and monitoring services, carriers will be provided with a unified view of covert freight tracking and security information, plus pro-active theft prevention and risk management services, supplying an additional layer of logistics security to customers of Qualcomm’s transportation services business.
