Fittipaldi Logistics Inc. has announced it will begin implementing its EmmoLogic software to provide visibility of internal assets for Averitt Express’s Integrated Services unit. The EmmoLogic system will incorporate data from Qualcomm’s OmniTracs mobile communication system, which is used in most of Averitt’s fleet.
EmmoLogic will enable Averitt to disseminate load and available truck information through a variety of data exchanges and interfaces to current and potential customers and organizations, the software maker said.
The solution will provide Averitt real-time information to their current customer base and allow them to post available assets and loads. It will also manage, solicit, and provide reporting for carrier organizations, and offer an Averitt price bidding process for specific lanes within the Integrated Services unit.
