ALK incorporates solutions under new business group

ALK Technologies has announced a new group, the Enterprise Solutions group, to support its PC*Miler, CoPilot Truck and CoPilot Live Professional product lines as well as map data, software tools, and other professional services

ALK Technologies has announced a new group, the Enterprise Solutions group, to support its PC*Miler, CoPilot Truck and CoPilot Live Professional product lines as well as map data, software tools, and other professional services.

ALK’s Enterprise Solutions Group is responsible for sales, business development, marketing, product management and support for all products and services sold worldwide to transportation and logistics companies.

The new group will be led by Michael Kornhauser, senior vice president, who will report directly to CEO Barry J. Glick. Other executives appointed to the newly formed team are Dan Popkin, vice president business development, worldwide; Dan Titus, vice president business development, North America; and Craig Fiander, vice president, marketing, North America. Chris Quin and Klaus Kremer lead business development and marketing for the Europe, Middle East and Africa markets.

“I’m very pleased to announce the formation of our Enterprise Solutions Group,” said Barry Glick, CEO of ALK Technologies. “This new organization, responsible for delivering to our customers and partners all of ALK’s extensive geo-logistics focused technologies, enables us to meet the growing needs of the global transportation, logistics and mobile enterprise markets for fully integrated transportation-specific routing, mapping, and navigation. The appointment of a leadership team with extensive industry and technology backgrounds is indicative of the importance we place on the group’s mission.”

ALK also formed the Consumer Products group, which will be responsible for CoPilot Live GPS navigation apps for iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile platforms. David Quin will lead this group from the company’s London office.
