Con-way Truckload implements Transflo Express

Con-way Truckload has installed Transflo Express truckstop scanning and Express Indexing in its fleet. The for-hire carrier operates 2,600 tractors from five terminals.

Both products are from Pegasus TransTech.

Transflo Express allows for scanning and electronic delivery of documents from the road, allowing drivers to visit any of more than 800 equipped truckstops for convenient transfer. Express Indexing works at the back office to automate document processing.

“We are pleased with the speed at which we receive our driver paperwork and the visibility gained to what has and has not been scanned,” said Mark T. Timpe, director, billing and credit for Con-way Truckload.

According to Pegasus, Express Indexing recognizes optical marks, characters, and forms and automatically indexes incoming documents and validates load information with Con-way’s management software.
