• Software provider names president

    Ben Keller has been named president of Melton Technologies (MTI). Based in North Carolina, Melton is a trucking software development firm.

    Keller has been vice president and general manager of Melton for the past four years.  Since joining the company, Keller has introduced business analytics into the MTI family of products. He will focus on enhancements to Horizon Dispatch and to applications involving mobile devices.

    According to Melton, Keller helped Chuck Melton launch the company in the 1980s by contributing to the design and development of the original DOS Dispatch System.

    Chuck Melton, founder and majority owner, remains as chairman and will be involved in more strategic pursuits with the company.
