Mobile communication provider PeopleNet is making changes to its executive suite, bringing aboard Mark Botticelli as executive vp and head of technology while promoting several other key personnel.
Botticelli is now responsible for PeopleNet’s North American technology strategy and product delivery across wireless, software, hardware, infrastructure and quality assurance. He previously led the development of several mobile worker-centric and vehicle-centric applications within mobile resource management business at Trimble, a PeopleNet subsidiary.
In a reverse shift, Ron Konezny, PeopleNet’s founder and CEO now takes over as general manager of worldwide transportation and logistics division of Trimble, with Brian McLaughlin taking on Konezny’s former CEO role for PeopleNet.
Newly promoted senior vp-sales executives Garland Jackson and Mark Kessler are assuming more market management authority and will be collaborating with Jamie Williams, president of PeopleNet Canada, on key operating issues.
Jackson, in addition to leading regional accounts, is adding small markets, sales operations and sales engineering to his gamut, and will focus on common processes across the U.S., while Kessler will continue to manage the growth of national accounts while overseeing PeopleNet’s expansion into Mexico and other strategic markets.
Rick Ochsendorf also moved up, taking on the role of senior vp-operations and product management with added product strategy and management responsibilities.
