Ideal for field service workers who are constantly on the move, Wilson Electronics’ Sleek cell-phone signal booster helps to eliminate dead zones and makes communication with workers easier.

The device, originally introduced in 2010 and sold exclusively as a consumer product, is part of Wilson’s push into the transportation vertical.  It can be used with a Bluetooth headset or other hands-free devices and is easily installed.

“With the Sleek, we incorporated the same performance and advantages Wilson Electronics is known for into the smallest and lowest priced signal booster the company has ever produced,” said Joe Banos, Wilson Electronics COO. “The great part is that we did not have to compromise the features. Sleek users will benefit from the tried and tested Wilson technology found in our line of cell phone signal boosters, but at a much lower price.”

The device includes a magnetic mount antenna and plugs into a power adapter or cigarette lighter. By connecting the antenna cable to the dash-mounted unit and then slipping a phone into the cradle, cell signal will be boosted, in many cases enough to overcome poor reception and even dead zones, the company said.

The Sleek operates on both the 800 MHz (cellular) and 1900 MHz (PCS) frequency bands and meets all FCC and Industry Canada technical specifications.
