The TREQ-VMx includes a 2G quad-band GSM/GPRS modem, an integrated GPS receiver and J1708/J1939 (CANbus) interface. A bright, LED lighted, 800 x 480 WVGA, 7-in. LCD display with touchscreen, and Marvell XScale PXA166 (800 MHz ARM) is also included.

There is a 10/100Base-T wired Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n with internal antenna, one EIA-232/422/485 configurable; one EIA-232, five USB 2.0 high-speed host ports, one hour active life lithium-polymer battery, extended operating temperature ranges of -20 to 60 deg. C and Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 operating system.

“We have been designing and manufacturing mobile data terminals for nearly two decades. The TREQ-VMx takes advantage of this experience and offers our customers the best in rugged design and powerful performance,” said Tyler Phillips, director of mobile data terminal sales. “In a market where consumer-grade products are often proven to be inadequate, we are committed to providing rugged industrial hardware that will stand up in harsh in-cab environments for many years of use.”
