• Service provider picks GeoManager management solution

    July 27, 2012

Service Tire Truck Centers (STTC) is implementing GeoManager from Trimble across its entire fleet of vehicles.

“Using Trimble GeoManager, we believe we can enhance our customers’ experience by providing faster response time through integrated vehicle monitoring and improved appointment scheduling,” said Walter Dealtrey, COO for STTC. “We chose Trimble because of its dedication to innovation and its robust, scalable solutions that optimize field service performance.”

GeoManager is an enterprise-level cloud-computing platform that offers real-time visibility into day-to-day fleet operations, enabling users to identify, manage and improve key areas such as vehicle utilization, maintenance planning and customer satisfaction, Trimble said.

With 40 locations throughout the Northeast, STTC provides new and retread tires, tire maintenance and Road Assist, a nationwide 24-hour, 7 day-a-week emergency road service.

“GeoManager will allow STTC to build upon its service excellence by cost-effectively managing its fleet,” said Mark Forrest, general manager of Trimble Field Service Management. “Providing efficient and reliable service has been the hallmark of STTC, and we are proud to support them in optimizing this success.”
