Noregon Systems has released the latest update to its JPRO Commercial Fleet Diagnostics solution. The latest release, 2013 v1.1, is available immediately to current JPRO license holders.
It can be accessed at http://www.jprofleetproducts.com/downloads/software/jpro_fleetdiags.asp.
The latest edition includes several coverage and functionality enhancements, Noregon said, including enhanced coverage for Volvo D13 engines on Prevost vehicles and Bendix TPMS SmartWave application to the OEM application portal.
New functionality includes proxy server support for the JPRO Next Step web-based application, silent installation capability for JPRO software, and automatic inclusion of JPRO demo log files.
“Following the successful launch of JPRO 2013 v1 and JPRO Next Step earlier this year, we have added coverage and enhanced functionality with the release JPRO 2013 v 1.1,” noted Greg Reimmuth, vice president of sales and marketing for JPRO Commercial Fleet Products. “The proxy server functionality is particularly useful for fleets and service centers utilizing this network architecture wanting to implement the JPRO Next Step service. We are also excited about adding diagnostic trouble code coverage information to our large number of OEM applications. These enhancements help us meet our goal of delivering the industry’s most comprehensive, easy-to-use diagnostic and repair solution.”
Customers with JPRO 2013 v1 or 2013 v1.1 can combine JPRO diagnostics with direct navigation to service information by purchasing a subscription to JPRO Next Step. JPRO Next Step automatically ties diagnostic trouble codes to repair information. Once a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is found, technicians click on the Next Step logo (located on the JPRO launch bar within the home screen) and a new window opens containing service information associated with the specific DTC.
