Pegasus TransTech has signed new agreements with Pilot Flying J and Love’s Travel Stops to offer Transflo Express truck stop scanning.
The agreements will ensure that all U.S. and Canadian locations for the two truck stop chains will provide the scanning service through Dec. 31, 2030. The old agreements, both signed in 2010, would have expired on Dec. 31, 2020.
Pilot Flying J became the first chain to offer Transflo Express in 2002. Love’s Travel Stops added the service in 2004.
“Pilot Flying J and Pegasus TransTech have been tremendous partners over the last 12 years and we continue to grow the business and enjoy the partnership,” said Mark Hazelwood, president of Pilot Flying J. “Transflo Express has been a valuable service to our trucking company customers in helping them improve their days’ sales outstanding and credit processes.”
With Transflo Express, drivers simply hand their documents to a trained cashier at the fuel counter for scanning. In seconds, the documents are sent electronically to the fleet or third party logistics provider for immediate billing and payroll processing.
“Love’s is very excited about continuing our business partnership with Pegasus TransTech,” said Richard Ketchum, manager of other income for Love’s. “One factor that’s helped Love’s reach its 50th anniversary is our commitment to focus on our customers’ needs. Providing Transflo Express is one more way we can assist them. We look forward to a continued successful partnership.”
