Martin Transportation Systems (MTS), a 750-truck fleet based in Byron Center, MI, is implementing a corporate payment solution from Electronic Funds Source (EFS).

EFS provides customized solutions including a suite of corporate and private-label purchasing cards; innovative cardless technology solutions; payroll solutions; money transfer solutions; back-office A/P and expense management solutions; and intelligent, real-time analytics.

“Like EFS, our company has seen rapid growth since our inception and we wanted a technology partner who shared the same forward-thinking, strategic vision as MTS,” said Brett McGovern, vice president of operations for Martin Transportation Systems Inc. “Their service was exceptional throughout the implementation which led to a flawless, well executed upgrade to our business.”

MTS is utilizing a portfolio of services including the EFS Fleet and SmartFunds payroll solution – using a single card – as well as EFS’ MasterCard Corporate Multi-Card and Virtual MasterCard purchasing program.

EFS has integrated real time with MTS’ existing ERP applications to provide maximum visibility and control over their business, it said.

“EFS is proud to have MTS as our latest customer to implement on our platform,” said Scott R. Phillips, President and CEO of Electronic Funds Source. “EFS shares many of the same core values as MTS including our dedication to technology and providing our customers with the highest-quality service and solutions.”
