J&M Tank Lines switches payments business to EFS

Dec. 18, 2014

J&M Tank Lines is transitioning its payment solutions business to Electronic Funds Source (EFS). The Birmingham, AL-based carrier is using EFS’ EFS’ integrated fleet card platform and EFS’ MasterCard payments platform.

“EFS listened to our needs and took time to understand our business,” said Harold A. Sumerford Jr., CEO of J&M Tank Lines. “EFS not only brought innovative ideas, but uncovered areas where they could improve efficiencies, including delivering a real-time interactive interface with our system giving us better visibility and control over our fleet.”

“We’re thrilled to have J&M Tank Lines as the latest carrier to implement on the EFS platform,” said Scott R. Phillips, president and CEO of EFS. “EFS continues to listen to our customers about their needs, using direct feedback to help shape our vision for industry-leading technology solutions that are making payments smarter for our customers and our industry,” said Phillips.
