Spangenberg Partners launches to focus on aftermarket technology sector

Jan. 7, 2015

Husband and wife team Glynn and Lisa Spangenberg have launched a new company focused on providing the transportation aftermarket technology sector with sales representation. Spangenberg Partners will “focus … on trucking technologies that either save lives or reduce costs. We’re going to champion the most excellent technologies that we can find to help the industry achieve real ROI and cash flow improvements, period,” said Lisa Spangenberg.

Lisa Spangenberg has been involved with organizations such as Women in Trucking. Glynn Spangenberg has held management roles with Qualcomm and PeopleNet and was most recently president of Trimble T&L Innovations.

“The role that technology plays in trucking is huge and every year we see technology firms come and go,” said Glynn. “Sometimes they don’t make it because the product or management was just not a good fit for trucking but quite often they don’t make it because they didn’t have the ability to rapidly immerse into the industry. Our job at Spangenberg Partners will be to first make sure these products are right for trucking and then help them sell their products in a rapid and efficient manner.”
