New VP of business development joins ISE Fleet Services

ISE Fleet Services, a division of Innovative Software Engineering (ISE), announced that Chris Nelson has joined the company as vice president of business development.“We are excited to have Chris become part of the ISE team,” said Hass Machlab, president and CEO of ISE. “Chris brings a strong background in trucking and insurance risk management, and has represented many of the top 100 carriers in the country. This experience will enable us to increase our market presence in the mobile safety and compliance space.”ISE said the addition of Nelson completes its executive team for business development. He joins Joe Barry, VP of Business Development for ISE, and Mark Schumacher, VP of Business Development for eFleetSuite. According to the company, Barry is responsible for business development and account management for ISE’s professional services business, working with ISE’s existing and prospective clients to connect their business challenges to ISE’s software engineering expertise. Schumacher leads business development, including product management, strategic partnerships, marketing and sales, for ISE’s telematics platform, eFleetSuite, which includes electronic driver logs and DVIR applications, ISE said. The company said Nelson will lead business development for ISE Fleet Services, which leverages eFleetSuite to provide an end-to-end safety and compliance focused solution geared especially toward satisfying commercial fleet customers in North America.Nelson was previously the assistant vice president of Risk Management, Transportation for NationsBuilders Insurance Services (NBIS), a general underwriting organization headquartered in Atlanta, GA. He started with ISE on June 8."I am excited to be part of the ISE team," Nelson said. "Most of my career has been in the transportation industry and I look forward to continuing that tradition by providing innovative solutions to ISE’s current and future customers."
