Donlen has released new updates to its FleetWeb Mobile and DonlenDriver Mobile apps, the company announced. “Fleet managers and drivers using the mobile apps will now have access to a new intelligent fuel station find feature that uses an advanced algorithm to locate the most economical fueling stations based on average fuel transaction price, vehicle mpg, driving distance and driver time,” Donlen said. “The benefit will be reduced fuel spend as well as improved productivity. New customer-focused support enhancements also allow drivers and fleet managers to request assistance and approve maintenance purchase orders more efficiently.”“Donlen’s updated mobile apps allow fleet managers and drivers to be more productive than ever before,” said Jeff Pursell, vice president of FleetWeb products. “Our one-step purchase order approval drastically reduces vehicle downtime. The Intelligent Fuel Find utilizes key factors to locate the optimal fuel station. This functionality will increase productivity for all mobile app users.”In recognition of its mobile apps, Donlen has been named a finalist in the Mobile Apps category of the 2015 Stevie Business Awards, and will ultimately be a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the program, according to the company. Winners will be announced on Friday, Sept. 11, in San Francisco.
